Hints
If you want an easy ticket to the top when your playing by yourself, goto NEW GAME, then select TWO human
players, and put them both on EASY START, and put the other two computer players on CHALLENGE! Now set
password option to off. As soon as you start goto buy/sell and sell every unit except your donkey, Now buy the
wine glasses from Venice and goto Rome, sell them and buy the barrels, keep doing this. Hit END TURN and do the
same with the other player. Now you use the first players money to buy positions in the government by bribing
officials, and/or buying cardinals to become pope, and you can use the second players money to do the dirty
work, such as assasinating Dodges, Senitors, Cardinals and Popes, Slandering other players and burning down
warehouses!
There are 2 good ways of making tons of money from this method, the first, is to buy heaps of cardinals with
the first players money, then using the second players money to assasinate the pope, then you can EXCOMUNICATE
Venice and Rome. Then after you become Pope the first player can bribe most of the senators, once you have the
majority vote you can get the second player to assasinate the Doge! And there you go! You are the Pope, the
Doge, the richest player, and one hell of a popular guy! Eventually you will get an army under your sleeve,
when you do, goto to a city nearby and invade it! If you loose, use the first players money to hire heaps of
mercenarys then try again! When you take control of the city you can prevent the two computer players from
dealing there, then you can let both of the human players traders into there, you must by the item that Venice
and Rome dont have, load your donkey and start shipping!
More Money!!! When you get enough money buy more donkeys and camels to trade with, and when you get even
more money buy a huge army of mercenarys and attack Venice and Rome, then prevent the two computer players
from trading there aswell! But during all this time you must keep buying Cardinals and bribing Senators
because the other traders will get real cranky about not being able to trade at Venice or Rome and will start
causing havoc!
