Cheat codes

Cheats
  Add '-cheatenable' into command line of the game (mgsi.exe -cheatenable) and use the following keys in game:
  F2 - God Mode
  F4 - Unlimited Ammo
  F6 - Observe Mode
  F5 - Normal Mode
  F7 - Fast Level Restart
  [F8] - Toggle alternate graphics textures.
  [F9] - Toggle alternate graphics textures.
  [F11] - Toggle alternate graphics textures.
  [F12] - Toggle alternate graphics textures.
  Technical Demonstration Mode
  Successfully complete the modes in this order: "Training," "Time Trial," "Gun Shooting," and "Survival."

  Infinite Ammo
  Beat the game without submitting to Ocelot when being tortured to save Meryl. There should be a new saved
game. Load it and you will start out with a bandana. Wear it and you will get infinite ammo.

  Invisibility
  Beat the game with submitting to Ocelot when being tortured to get Meryl killed. There should be a new saved
game. Load it and you will start out with a sleath camouflage. Wear it and you will get infinite ammo.

  New Textures
  Successfully complete the game two times and get both the bandana and stealth camouflage. At the third time
of playing, reach up to the area where you fight Ninja without using the bandana or stealth camouflage. If
done correctly, Ninja will be wearing red instead of blue. There will now be new textures for Snake and Ninja
and new bonus music during the ending

  Get the Bandanna
  To use the Bandanna and have inifinite ammo, play through the game and get the "good" ending.

  Get the Stealth Suit
  To get the Stealth Suit that makes you invisible to enemies (but not bosses), play through the game and get
the "bad" ending.

  Snake in a Tux
  If you want to play through the game with Snake in a tux, and the Ninja in red armor, first get both the
Bandana and Stealth Suit. When you play through the game a third time, Snake will change into the tux during
the elevator sequence.

  Play as the Ninja
  If you get your completion rate up to at least 85% in VR Missions, you will be able to unlock the three
Ninja missions.

  Unlock Mei Ling Photo Shoot
  To take pictures of Mei Ling with the camera, get the best time in all thirty Time Attack missions in the VR
Missions mode.

  Change Title Screen Colors
  To change the colors on the title screen, simply press different directions on the D-Pad.

  Different Workouts for Meryl
  When you first see Meryl through the grate, she will be working out. If you exit the air duct, and re-enter,
she will be doing a different workout.

  Extra Modes in VR Training
  You are able to unlock new modes in the default VR Training, which are:
  Finish 10 levels to get the Gun Shooting Mode
  Finish 10 more levels to get the Survival Mission

  Hidden Ghosts
  Those crazy developers who created this masterpiece have hidden pictures of themselves in the game. There
are are total of 48 of them, all of which you can see when you snap a picture of a certain area when you play
through the game a second time. Here are the locations for all Spirit photos:
  Kojima: Otacon lab (the picture frame to the right)
  Matsuhana: Hallway of corpses (outside Otacons lab)
  Sato: Comm Twr A (roof destroyed by a Hind D missiles)
  Nakamura: In Meryl's blood pool (where she is sniped)
  Shinkawa: Deep in Sniper Wolfs hallway behind the second pillar
  Uehara: Edge of elevator (the one were the ravens are)
  Negishi: Sewage waterfall
  Mizutani: When fighting Metal Gear
  Korekado: Men's retroom
  Sasaki: Picture frames in the Commanders room
  Sonoyama: Torture machine
  Toyota: Container in the middle of Raven's warehouse
  Kozyou: Behind the watertank-like structure in the Canyon
  Shimizu: Wolf dog cave (first crawling point)
  Kaneda: The mirror located in the Women's restroom
  Fukushima: Heliport,looking out to sea from cliff
