At the main menu, press Down, Up, Left, Right, Up, Right, Up, Down to unlock all stadiums. If you entered the
code correctly, the controller will vibrate.
All teams
At the main menu, press Left, Right(2), Down(2), Left, Up(2) to unlock all teams. If you entered the code
correctly, the controller will vibrate.
All players
At the main menu, press Left, Up, Left, Right, Down, Right, Left, Up to unlock all players. If you entered the
code correctly, the controller will vibrate. Go to "Player Movement", then "Free Agents", to find the players.
All uniforms
At the main menu, press Up, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, Down, Up to unlock all uniforms. If you entered
the code correctly, the controller will vibrate.
Maximum pitch break
At the main menu, press Right(2), Up(2), Down(2), Left(2). If you entered the code correctly, the controller
will vibrate.
Maximum pitch speed
At the main menu, press Up(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, Up(2). If you entered the code correctly, the
controller will vibrate.
Run faster
At the main menu, press Left(3), Up, Right(3), Down. If you entered the code correctly, the controller will
vibrate.
Run slower
At the main menu, press Right(3), Up, Left(3), Down. If you entered the code correctly, the controller will
vibrate.
Big ball
At the main menu, press Up, Right, Down, Left, Right, Down, Left, Up. If you entered the code correctly, the
controller will vibrate.
Easy homeruns
Enter the options screen and choose the "Game Play" selection. Go to "Tuning" and set "Contact" and "Power" to
the maximum. When you hit the ball, press the Right Analog-stick Up to increase your chances for a homerun.
Easy base stealing
If you have a player who is faster than average, there is an easy way to steal bases against the CPU. First,
get familiar with when the CPU will try a pickoff. Notice that the crowd gets louder just before it, the pitch
guessing buttons disappear, and the fielder goes towards the base. Once you know this well enough, take a big
lead off the base. When you know the pitcher is going for the pick-off, manually send the runner to the next
base, using Triangle + Left or Square + Down, depending on what base they are on. Note: Do not try this
with a runner on first base, as the pickoff is too quick because the first baseman is already holding the
runner on. This only works when no one is holding the runner. Also, if the defense is in double play position,
it is tougher, but still possible to be successful.
Easy World Series win in Franchise mode
Do a fantasy draft and get players that are both young and have low salaries (for example, Rich Hill). When
done after going through the 75 rounds, go to "Player Management" and select "View Roster". Move all players'
stats to the maximum to get the perfect team.
Getting good players
In Season, Franchise, and other modes, you can get rid of your bad players for good players. First, find the
player you want. Then, find a bad minor league (AA or AAA) or major league player. Raise their stats all the
way up. Change their position to the position of the player you want. Offer a trade to the high ranked
player's team. If they accept, complete the trade. Then, go to "View Roster" and lower the player's stats back
down.
Faster training hours
To get more training hours faster in Career mode, do not sign long term contracts. Just sign one year
contracts and do not renew after the season. Find a team that is weak in your position (or stay with your
team) and go to spring training. If you are a position player, you will receive an extra 600 to 900 hours if
you simulate, if you want more hours, play the games. You will make the team almost certainly. If did not make
the team, you probably would have started the season in the minors regardless and not signing will not hurt you
but only help.
Keeping team under salary cap in Franchise mode
An easy way to keep your team under the cap is to turn on the "Force Trade" option, then trade your best
players for players of the same position that are very bad. Then, go into the player roster and edit the new
players. Set their attribute points to whatever desired. You will now have great talent without the big
salary.
