Play as Pyron

Defeat Pyron in arcade mode to unlock him and his stage.

Fight against Ingrid

Win each round of your first three matches with at least one perfect finish.

Fight against Shin Akuma

Successfully complete the game once with each character, except for Pyron. Shin Akuma will appear after Pyron
is defeated when using a team containing your last set of characters. Alternately, successfully complete the
game in arcade mode on any difficulty setting, winning all rounds including those against Pyron. Also, have at
least two Perfect finishes and at least one super combo finish in each match. Shin Akuma will appear after
Pyron is defeated.

Play as Shin Akuma

Defeat Shin Akuma in arcade mode to unlock him and his stage.

Easily unlock Pyron and Shin Akuma

To unlock Pyron and Shin Akuma easily, set the game to one round and damage to maximum. Play through arcade
mode and defeat Pyron with a perfect. Then, defeat Akuma. Both characters will be now unlocked with their
stages.

Classic character sound themes

Successfully complete the game to unlock classic themes for the characters used in the "Sounds" option. To
unlock Shin Akuma's music, defeat Pyron with Shin Akuma.

Switch starting characters

Between matches, hold two Kick buttons. When the match begins, you can start the round with your second
selected character instead of your first.

Select victory pose

Press a Kick or Punch button after winning a round to change your victory pose.

Original music

Successfully complete the game and unlock everything (all characters and theme songs). Then, hold X during the
matches to hear the theme song of your opponent. However if you die, you must do it again after the enemy's
speech; hold X and select your characters. Note: This will give away who you are going to fight in the
next round because of the pause of the music.

Character references

Hong Kong: Yang is sitting down and Fei Long can be seen standing by the boat.

Japan: E. Honda, Ibuki, Makoto, Dan, Maki, and a picture of Cammy on the billboard.

Jungle: Oro (in the sleeping bag), Blanka jumps in the lake.

Maynmar: Sagat, Adon, Dalhsim.

New York: You can see Ken, Charlie, T. Hawk, Cody, D.J,, Hugo, Cammy, Sean, Birdie and a picture of Soddom.

Underworld: You can see B.B. Hood behind a coffin; she keeps peeking out.
