Arena mode
Successfully complete the game to unlock Arena mode under the "Extras" option.
Black suit
Successfully complete the game to unlock the Black Spider-Man suit.
Play as Peter Parker
When there is a mission available for the Daily Bugle, go to it. Go inside the building and talk to Robbie.
When he assigns you a project, leave the building, then go back in. Notice that the nav point is now showing
up from inside the building. Wait up to seven minutes inside the building. You will then get a mission failed
message (you wasted too much time, Eddie has taken your job). You will now have two options, "Retry" or "Do
something else". Select "Do something else", and you should then appear on top of the Daily Bugle as Peter
Parker. Walk over to the race on top of the building, but do not start it. When "Press A to start mission"
appears, you will have the ability to use A, which is punch. Walk over to the edge of the building and hold
Forward and do uppercuts until Peter falls off the building. You are now Peter Parker in the city; however,
all you can do is run around and punch or web. To exit, die. When you respawn on top of the building, go into
the Daily Bugle, then come back out.
Finding Tokens
If you hear a chime while swinging through the city, this indicates that you are close to a Token.
Web swinging upgrades
You can earn upgrades for this ability by using it a lot.
Getting angry
To get angry without having to fight enemies, simply tap RB repeatedly. Spider-Man will make a shaking hand
motion and will scream. The longer you tap RB, the more rage you will build up.
Easy kills
When an enemy is running away from you, press B. You will stun their eyes and make it easier to kill them.
To easily defeat enemies, jump then keep tapping both Attack buttons.
Use the following trick to defeat Apocalypse Gang members, Arsenic Candy girls, and Dr. Connor's Lizard
Creations in one hit. Jump up in the air and pull the enemy up to you. Then, very quickly press B when they
are close then Y repeatedly. You will pile drive their head in to the ground. This move will only defeat the
lower level gang members in one hit. In order to do this on the ones with weapons, you must be Black suit
Spider-Man in Rage mode. They will lose 75% of their health.
City shortcut
To cut the distance you have to travel, go to the Daily Bugle. Get in between two smoke towers. You can use
your Spider-Sense to find it. Look in the direction you want to go, then press X and tap Left Analog-stick
Down.
Defeating Venom
To defeat Venom in the Grand Finale mission, hold LB then run and hit the boxes to drive him crazy. By holding
LB while doing this, you will have more time to run while your opponent is in slow-motion.
The final button combination to defeat Venom is Up, A, Left, A(2), B, LB, X, LB, Y, RT.
Easy Hitch Hiker achievement
Do not try to ride a regular car to get the Hitch Hiker achievement because the traffic is very bad and the
cars barely move. Instead, ride a criminal's car for a distance of five miles. It is easier and faster.
Remember to knock out the people that attack you.
Easy Web Swinger achievement
Go to the Daily Bugle, and use the Web Sling Shot area at the pointed part of the building. Immediately before
you land, quickly use the Web Zip or just keep pressing RT to get the achievement.
To easily get this achievement, go to the subway and swing as fast as you can into an oncoming train.

Police Sergeant (30 points): Complete all Bank Robbery missions.
Police Officer (30 points): Complete all Crime Spree missions.
Police Corporal (30 points): Complete all Petty Theft missions.
Cold Blooded Super Master (30 points): Complete all Connors missions.
Deputy (30 points): Complete all DeWolfe missions.
Frequent Flyer (10 points): Collect all Skyscraper tokens.
Splat Master 2007 (20 points): Splat into the ground 25 times.
Police Detective (30 points): Complete 25 random city missions.
Police Chief (30 points): Complete all combat tours.
Punk Rocker (10 points): Collect all Apocalypse Gang tokens.
Sweet Tooth (10 points): Collect all Arsenic Candy tokens.
Fire Breather (10 points): Collect all Order of the Dragon Tail tokens.
Arachnophile (10 points): Collect all Secret tokens.
Pied Piper (10 points): Collect all Subway tokens.
Hitch Hiker (20 points): Ride a car or truck for 5 miles.
Eddie Brock (40 points): Defeat this nemesis.
Flint Marko (30 points): Defeat this nemesis.
Harry Osborn (30 points): Defeat this nemesis.
Wilson Fisk (30 points): Defeat this nemesis.
Aleksei Sytsevich (30 points): Defeat this nemesis.

Shutterbug (20 points): Complete all Daily Bugle photo missions.
Web Slinger (20 points): Web up 25 enemies.
Fast Swinger (20 points): Swing at 200 miles per hour.
Pole Swinger (10 points): Swing on 50 poles.
Spider-Man (50 points): Complete all missions.
Collateral Damage (10 points): Destroy 25 objects.
A Dark Reward (20 points): Secret Achievement
Web Swinger (20 points): Swing a total of 10 miles.
Master Web Swinger (20 points): Swing a total of 50 miles.
Mega Web Swinger (30 points): Swing a total of 200 miles.
Intermediate Racer (20 points): Get at least Bronze on all easy and medium trick races.
Additionally, there is one secret achievement:
A Dark Reward (20 points): Successfully complete the game. This is awarded when you unlock the Black suited
Spider-Man costume.
